KiXforms Designer .NET is now available as an independent install. Its purpose is to help teach and design forms using KiXforms.NET. As an Alpha it is still under development.
KiXforms Designer .NET Build 1.0.43.0
KiXforms Designer .NET does not include KiXfoms.NET, it must be installed before installing KFD.
KiXforms.NET (Alpha) Development Build
Included in the KiXforms Designer .NET.msi (found in the install directory "C:\Program Files\KiXforms Designer .NET\") Base64.exe KFDHelp.chm Sample Scripts
A shortcut to KiXforms Designer .NET is created under the StartMenu 'Programs > KiXforms Designer .NET'

Hi, thx for the KiXforms.net, I love using it
However I found a bug in the new version installer The previous version required that the Dot Net framework was installed while the new version doesn't and even installs without it, off course KixForms.Net doesn't work after it is installed. Just thought you should know.

Yes I am referring to KixForms Designer.Net, the previous msi version gave a notice that .Net framwork was not installed and asked me if I wanted to install that. The current version does not. Either way, I didn't wanna start a panic Just thought I should mention it.

Found a second bug, another installation bug. Once FixForms.Net is installed and you've rebooted and logged in as a different user and then later on change back, your scripts won't run. The error says "KixForms.Net Not Initiated. This Script Will Now Close" you have to repair the installation and then once you run the first KixForms.net based script you'll see the whole installer again and then it works again.
Btw, shouln't u make it into Visual Kix 2005 ?

Windows 2003 ... doesn't that sound a bit out of date today
Isn't that the point? If its a couple of years out of date then you'll want to buy an upgrade to the latest and greatest.

I never intended this post to be a discussion of KFD, It was meant to be notification of changes/fixes, and its not Shawn you should be asking to change the name.

this is not a bug in kfd, nor is it a bug in kf.net. it has to do with the choice during installation of kf.net. you have the choice to install kf.net for the current user or all users. you received this message because you installed for the current user. you must install for all users or you will receive that error. if you do receive an error then it is a discussion for a another thread.
