I'd rather see new functionality integrated, e.g. ByVar/ByRef support, or full COM-support, rather than getting a couple of bytes shaved off the executable. Once one figures in the size of the scripts to be run and the execution times, the size of the executable itself becomes meaningless.

Amazing thread. I haven't seen you bunch so animated in years (years?). Even Bryce got involved. The thread started off kind of snarky but half way through it got interesting. Reminds me of the old days.

Size of W/KIX32.EXE? What? Are we still running QEMM/Deskview to run a BBS from a home system? With today's computers and underlying structure, is there a big deal of a couple hundred K vs eighty K?
