powershell - takes 4-7 seconds to "initialize" when launched. Wassup wit dat?

Kix scripts still run, but require ".\" to invoke if in the current folder. KF scripts pop up a cmd window that doesn't appear when invoked from RUN or the command line.

Even a simple "dir" is horribly slow - less than a second in CMD and 3+ seconds in PowerShell.

I'm going to start testing all my code in the PS console.

We should probably share our experiences. You know we won't be the only ones with growing pains because of this.
