Re: Windows 10 RS2 not support.

Additionally, this issue did not occur on Windows 10 Redstone 1 and earlier versions.

If I had to guess, you are experiencing an known issue with kixforms. See here..

Hi Arser,

Here's the new build for Creators Update:

https://1drv.ms/u/s!AvPqNN0hts2kggfYaMnPPjH15HqH

Just regsvr32 it from an admin command line.

Let us know if any issues.

Re: Windows 10 RS2 not support.

Did you want to package it up and add it as a new/updated KiXforms zip file Shawn?

Re: Windows 10 RS2 not support.

Will Kixstart be updated (4.67) to support the Creators Update? Our mapped drives arent working on this build.

Re: Windows 10 RS2 not support.

Kix works fine (including mapped drives) with the Creators Update. I have about 200 machines running with it now and no problems.

Are you mapping drives in a startup (gpo) script? If so... this has been discussed many times over the years. Here is one thread - http://www.kixtart.org/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Main=28142&Number=210649#Post210649

Re: Windows 10 RS2 not support.

I just tested our Kix-based login script on the Creator's Update and it works properly - all drives and printers are mapped as expected. Just verified with both 4.66 and 4.67.

Note the highlighted Kix version string on line 2.

Hello everyone, please excuse me for resurrecting this topic, but it is for a good cause.

Well these days I was trying to register the dll of kixforms 2.47.6 via the MSI that Shawn destribuis for us, but I could not get error, so I tried to do via cmd. and he said that "the main module did not exist," I do not remember exactly.
Anyway I tried it in other places because I took to me that this was the dll that was in trouble because before formatting my pc, I did not have that problem.

So I downloaded this version distributed here and it worked perfectly on windows 10 build 17134.1
I'm just passing on to warn that this is .dll that worked for me, it's possible for other people to have worked, I do not know, thanks for everything and see you next time.
