How to map drives based on AD group membership for Azure AD Joined Devices

I am moving our laptop builds from AD Domain based to Azure AD Joined (AADJ).

As a result it is not possible to read INGROUP information from the device as this is no longer recorded.

There are solutions out there that use Powershell but I would like to stick to Kixtart if possible.

Has anyone found a way to map drives based on AD Group membership for AADJ devices?

You are the first to ask this. Might you post what you found regarding Powershell?

Hi Allen,

I seen this article Link to AADJ PS Script

At the CLI when running the command:
net user /domain
against AADJ devices, there is no return on the group membership which Kixtart, I guess uses for the INGROUP command.

Sadly, I'm going to be no help here. I don't have the environment or the knowledge to test or help you with this.

This site is very slow now, so while it may take a while for all the regulars to come around again, I wouldn't be surprised if someone posts something useful for you, if check back in from time to time.

Not sure if this will fit the bill for you or not but this is something I was using a few years ago. It looks like the author continues to update it.
