Dear,
Since release of current version Infopop had release two minor releases. The first
one has to deal with the search results.
Version 6.3.1.2 - November 14, 2002 is a minor but important release that adds:
- Increased security filtering to prevent the potential for harmful use of cross site scripting in posts.
- Increased security to prevent the potential for people to read private forum thread titles.
Version 6.3.1.1 - August 14, 2002 is a minor release that contains the following fixes:
- Search results are presented without thread duplicates
- Corrected minor bug in PDN duplicate checking
- Fixed private forum transition template and error messages
- The FAQ cache is now properly cleared when the FAQ is changed via the control panel
- Proper redirect added to the "Email User" feature
- Avatar selection errors due to mixed-case domain names solved
- Added additional input and output filtering
- Misc typo fixes
- JC Templates updated to be more XHTML 1.0 Transitional compliant

MCA, I am sorry to say that the cryptic note you placed about the move would not do anyone any good in finding the thread. Your intimate knowledge of how the board works allows that to make sense to you, but the average user would have no clue.
Les, message in plain text stating what was done seems to be much better.

Of course it can be a cryptic message, but for us it is very important to know what was hap-
pening with topics.
Most important part is that something should add to a topic after the move operation has been
completed.

FYI: info about UBB 6.5 release
We collect the latest release notes about this board software.
The interesting topics are
- HTML Templates to use. it is a drop-down box containing a list of all available HTML templates.
- search results are presented without thread duplicates (6.3.1.1)
- additional input and output filtering (6.3.1.1 - details at the moment unknown)
- today's active topics is now a rolling 24 hour period (6.4)
- time based edit options (6.4 - details at the moment unknown)
- feature topics (6.5), which means: it is a topic which remains at the top of topic listing
regardless of posting activity, like a news item or an announcement. - user adjustable date/time view (6.5). set my local timezone, which means: you can
have all of the times on the message board appear in your own local time.
You can set by profile
- preferred date format
- preferred time format
- set a time adjustment
no selection means admin's default preference will be shown.

Version 6.5 - February 21, 2003
6.5 includes the following new features:
- Featured topics.
- Private Message notification.
- Signature length limit adjustments for admin.
- Admins now have the ability to set the board to send a welcome PM to new registrants.

We show only what is coming.
The right moment may depend on next minor release, which contains all

As is the case with most BB Software Including UBB, PHP Nuke, Snitz, etc. it would be a MOD. Most MODs require additional coding..

Here is an annoyance with UBB.
If you are in a Forum or Topic that has Page 1 2 3.. If you Reply or go back, it should return you to the page you were at and not back to the starting page 1..
