Why is the European action so slow today? I know many in the U.S. have off today, but that is is no reason for them not to visit.

nah, I've had pretty nice day.
was leaving work at 20:15 when noticed that co-workers (our AS400 admin) copy was crashed.

checked and our whole network had went down! [Eek!]

no machine could see other.
no errors on hardware, all machines running nicely and ping and web working nicely.
just, no machines could connect.

after a 30 mins of misery, it came back on by itself [Confused]

nice.

so, like I said, this has been nice day [Big Grin]

Didn't have much time for the board today. Wrapped up my last day of work and now I'm on vacation. [Big Grin]
Will be taking a hop to TO on the 14th and then on to MTL (work) the next day for the week. Won't be back in my office till the 23rd.

The next 13 days I will be hanging around the board whenever I can deek out from the dreaded HoneyDo list.

There's a week of travel and work in MTL afterward that will keep me away from the board.

I like to refer to them as M$ but on this one I think MS is just as fitting.

M$ = Mucho Dinero
MS = Moving Slowly

So for M$ you get MS. That's what I will be doing in MTL.

The real depressing thing is that when I get back to work on the 23rd I will be on call (24/7) for the week. [Frown] {sob}

Okay Lonkero,

I've corrected the wording on the PERL script to show that the site is only updated once per day.

What a stickler on details... [Wink]

I'm on vacation this week, but actually not much computer time. Supposed to spend more time with the Family.

Lonkero... you need a new GF to take up some of that time of yours and slow down your post count. [Razz]

Instead I offered to move in because he has an extra cable and network port. I could get out from under the HoneyDo thingie and get more network time. [Big Grin]

Hmm... Jooel, how about an adopt-a-gramp? I'm accustomed to cold weather and could stand to get a faster ISP link.

As long as there's no HoneyDo!
