Strange situation.
Have some drive mappings.
Script contains
use * /d
use h: \\server\share
use u: \\server\anothershare
When changed \\server\share to \\srv\share old mapping not deleted, and new not done...
After login users still connected to old \\server\share
How to make right disconnectis (reconnections)?

Regards.

Actually, if you would read the KiXtart Manual under USE it's
code:
USE * /DELETE
USE * /DELETE /PERSISTENT

Double-checked, Lonkero is right too,
code:
USE * /DEL

is permitted, too.

Have had reports of putting the asterisk in quotes providing better results. Go figure...

USE "*" /DELETE /PERSISTENT

Actually, it features both versions, with and without quotes. Just shows how flexible KiXtart is.

Yes, both versions are shown. I have also seen posts where wrapping the drive letter in quotes claimed to help. I have no personal experience with the phenomenon so it's strictly hear-say.

It's these sort of inconsistencies with this free-form language that gets under my skin. I wish we could put this debate to rest once and for all. Should we take it to the big kahuna (Ruud)?
