I extracted the slider to own process and now it shows in taskbar. with name "form" hoby, is there a way in perl to spawn a process and monitor it's "screen"? as that is exactly what expect seems to do. still wondering why the sftp now does not get the files uploaded. last run got only two of them and one before none! _________________________ ! download KiXnet

I tried to get it going a while back, but put it aside. Chris found a really neat way to fake it though ... create a root form thats hidden, then create a child form and use the child as your main form ...
