I have a mix environment with WinNT & Win9x clients. Client %systemroot% directories range from c:\windows, c:\win98 & c:\winnt. How can I write a script to effectively distribute all DLLs to my Win9x clients while ignoring NT clients? Not to mention checking the %systemroot% directory if its c:\win98 or c:\windows?

Dear,

Use our package kix363update.exe, which will automatically check and update the windows directory.

Possible calls:

  • %0\..\kix363update.exe /q
  • set kix-debug=ok
    %0\..\kix363update.exe /q
    set kix-debug=
  • if not exist c:\kix363.ok %0\..\kix363update.exe /q

You find the package on our site

For additional info see topic on script forum 000583.
Greetings.
