So, even if an American Citizen bears a child outside the US territories but the child is an American Citizen, it will not be able to qualify. So all you have to check is if there are flights going to Schiphol, Amsterdam. You can book your ticket online at the following site: KLM Booking page Price for a roundtrip is about €380,- including taxes. Flighttime from Amsterdam is about 2 hours.
