Reading that page raises my hopes.

They could create a server-side script running on their intranet server with a page that lets the non-admin query the file usage. Bottom line is that this is not for me but for a sysadmin at another division that I want to nudge in the right direction, but not prepared to serve ready code on a silver platter. Not sure how much time and effort they are willing to invest.
