hoby, if you read from:
http://www.kixtart.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=13;t=000365;p=2#000045

to the end of the page you will get the answer.
I don't want to write it again after 3 hours [Wink]

shawn, I actually wrote fix for that already.
and dunno why kix does that.

parser returns:
$parse=""+$users,""+left($data,instr($data,'<')-1)

in pure english, even though it's not able to retrieve the data, it still returns an array.
but no.
it crashes.
I have no clue whatsoever how it can be.

ok.
QF for the parser is found in:
http://www.gwspikval.com/jooel/scripts/bbChecker/sources/current/

just need to make some sorta re query if info retrieve failed...
in the update maybe...

{edit}
another fix.
now changed the checker code too.
if not logged on currently, once logging in, gets the info.
looks even nice [Wink]
on a slow connection I don't suggest lurking logged of with checker running as it will check every time if my_profile is avail...
10k of error message...
well, les is at least affected. once again.

patrick, yes. just remember to rename or copy it to different folder before installation as it just overwrites without asking [Smile]

New feature? Is the "remember username" thingie in it already, or is it this fix:

quote:

if not logged on currently, once logging in, gets the info. looks even nice

With what post did you get the parse error???

I'm starting to get the now all the time.
going for coffee.

the reason for me to get the and not you is that I have never sources.
I was to change the topic name back to full length but now it seems to crack something.
that still isn't an error in checker code but in parser...

pat.

if ye still have it running you will probably notice this.

I "fixed" the parser enchangement pack and uploaded all current files.
if I get 4-5 success posts, will package them as beta 2.

yep, beta2 out there somewhere and seems to even work...

hoby, thought about that border thing and maybe will even do some sorta fake move thing.

I don't want to give you borders as I would need to rewrite every control positioning, but...
I'll see what I can do.
I already have one test script running pretty nicely...

Lonkero, I have had problems getting bbchecker to start this morning.

quote:
Script Error: unkown or unexpected command []! $btl.caption$[0]
I received this error the eight consecutive times when trying to start the program.

It seems that once an IE session has been established to the board then the application can start.

hoby, Have you installed the beta2?

the main fix/change between beta 1 and 2 was that I finally got the error condition fixed.

you can generate the error easily again by logging of.

if running beta2 it handles those situations correctly.
try it out.

Don't you install the version of WKIX32 that you desire in the installation package? I have 4.12b2 available but thought you took care of it.

The WKIX32 file in the bbchecker directory has the same time/date stamp as the one in my 4.12_b2 directory. [Confused]
