I have used the SETWALLPAPER command and it runs, but the wallpaper is only viewable when I am logging off or logging on. It is not viewable on my desktop like I want.
I don't think I had active desktop on, but I did have my display set to none for wallpaper. Once I put a generic bitmap as my wallpaper and then ran the script it worked and changed my wallpaper to the one in the script.
I am using NT 4.0 w/ SP 6a. The problem seems to be corrected. I had wallpaper set to none in my display properties. Once I set it to something and then ran the script it worked fine. So from the advice I received it won't work if you are running Active Desktop and it won't work if you have your display properties set to None for wallpaper.
