Hi There !

I have a little problem here.
There r some machines here when they try to logon, the script halt when it try to get any domain information.

A simple example in debug mode :

Break off - pass ok
Beep - pass ok
? @FULLNAME - freeze

Its very stranger but i didint find any solution for this problem !
This command "@FULLNAME" can be change to any other command what it have to check the information in domain, like INGROUP, @COMMENT, etc.. and freeze too.

Can any1 have any idea ?

Best regards

Mkae sure that you are using the latest release of KiXtart 3.63. Are you using the KixRPC service on your domain controllers?

if just 10 win95 computers with this problem.... it might be an outdated msnet32.

But before you go down that path...

How do you execute the kix script? is kix32.exe ran from the netlogon folder, or is it copied to the local PC?

Hy Bryce -

Its another problem !
They have the last version os msnet too ! msnet, winsock, etc..

About my cfg, all KIX archives r in the netlogon path, and my PDC replicate all of them to my BDCs.
The KXRPC is running from another directory (Different from netlogon).

Ive tried 3 ways to run the script in BAT file (no success too) :

%0\..\kix32.exe xxx.kix

and

c:\windows\kix32.exe \\[DC]\netlogon\xxx.kix

and

c:\windows\kix32.exe c:\windows\xxx.kix

I really dont know what i can do here !
If you have another test to do, will be welcome !

Regards
Arley
