Shawn,

The pause feature in ADSIBrowser.k2k does not seem to work on my box. Just wondering if it's me or the script?

Thanks,

Jim

Hi Jim,

Most services don't respond the pause command, so it's more the OS thingy than anything else, try temporarily pausing the Workstation service.

Shawn,

Thanks for the quick response! The Netmeeting Remote Desktop Sharing service (mnmsrvc) does respond to the pause. I can pause it using the services mmc and XNET, but not with the script???

I thought I found a typo as well. The commented line seems to have no reference, so I added the line above it which matches the other functions. I did not really look over the script all that much so let me know if it should have been as written.

Function pause_click()
dim $service
$service = getcurrentservice()
$service.pause()
servicelist_change()
;servicelistclick()
$service = 0
EndFunction

Thanks,

Jim

Are you double checking with MMC to make sure the service really isn't being paused ? Are you using the refresh button to give it time to update. Sometimes, the pause command takes a few seconds to work and returns too quickly ... ADSIBrowser was ported over from an old Kixforms script and I don't have this ported version with me right now.

Jim,

If you've got Kixtart 3.63, or don't mind downloading it for a sec, you might to checkout this script to see if all is working, its the mother of all KiXtart forms scripts, the ADSI Service Browser for Internet Explorer:

ADSI Service Browser
