Yeah, saw that, but it doesn't give much info. After researching more I think that the actual Init failure was caused by a lack of rights on the JP server that tried to service the request. The logon domain is still NT in this case and there was no trust from UK->"Japanese NT4 logon domain". Time will tell. But this brings up a new problem that needs to be resolved (Non-KiXtart). That is why was a W2K client in a W2K resource domain that is properly configured as part of a site to which the client is a part go to the UK for a GC bind request.
