Hi all,

I've been playing around with this stuff: http://kixtart.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=2&t=001182

and I'm trying to get it to work with v4.02... but sofar no luck

I'm especially interested in the first part up to the point where it has the complete page in a string.

I was also looking at lonkero's codeparser: http://kixtart.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=13&t=000009

but for that you need the WinHTTP SDK...

Can it still be done with just the internetexplorer object, or do I need to install the WinHTTP SDK and start with that?

hehehe, took a step back and looked at it again...

I've got it!!!

this is the converted stuff (up to the point of the page in the string):

BREAK ON CLS

$URL = 'http://kixtart.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=2&t=001182'
$CRLF = CHR(13)+CHR(10)

? "Searching "

$ie = createobject("internetexplorer.application")

$test=$ie.navigate($URL)

while $ie.Busy loop

$doc = $ie.document

while $doc.readyState <> "complete" and @error = 0 loop

$root = $doc.documentElement

$html = $root.innerhtml

? $html

Hey Rogier, heres a quick conversion:

break on

$ie = createobject("internetexplorer.application")

$ie.navigate("http://kixtart.org/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=13&t=000024")

while $ie.busy and not @error loop

$html = $ie.document.documentelement.innerhtml

?"$html"

$ie.quit()

$ie = 0

exit 1

heheh

Shawn,
Sometimes things happen themselves, as i'm currently seeking any information i can found for this stuff, but digging in the M$ website don't help
Do you have a link for the IE automation object reference ?

Says you can run either one, but I'm not sure how to call up the different objects.

Not a need, was just a question to get you thinking more then anything else Shawn.

just to inform you all,
I have finished the bug tracing of the 2nd version of my code parser.
will be put on line in manner of hours.
it no more needs any installations apart from itself, cause it includes all it needs.
2*dll and wkix32.exe
I also decided to make it clean self installing package with shortcut on users desktop.
