Hey, thanks all.

And thanks to Radimus for making the original suggestion and a special thanks to Les for starting the paperwork on this puppy ... and of course to Henri, for allowing and then building this new forum.

And I can't think of a better way to head into the new year than with a shiny new forum to discuss the shiny new features of KiXtart 4.01 - COM Scripting.

Actually, this forum should get quite interesting because the subject matter itself is (theoretically) unlimited ... infinite really, limited only by one's imagination in terms of what one can build or assemble from all the available component libraries in the marketplace.

So, if it's about Active Directory (ADSI), or managing Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) or activating ActiveX Data Objects (ADO) - post it to here...

Want to talk about automating Internet Explorer and manipulating Microsoft Office ? This is the place to discuss it...

Say you wrote a KiXtart script that talks SQL ? HTML ? or XML for that matter ? Tell us all about it !

Want to steal some of the more usefull features of Windows Scripting Host for use in your own KiXtart scripts - or - want to convert an existing piece of WSH/VBS code into KiXtart ? Just ask the board ...

Found a third party library that would be of interest to the rest of the community ? tell us all about it ! If it's COM related ... we want to hear about it ...

But above all, lets have some fun with it and in the process, learn a whole bunch of new things ...

-Shawn.
