Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	Hi, I am migrating a number of users from a number of servers to new servers. The problem is that I am unsure of what desktop/user profile shortcuts point to the old servers and if they do point to the old servers then how do I change them to point to the new server location?? Any help would be appreciated.

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	This will not work for me as there are approx 1000 users with numerous shortcuts. All I am looking to do is to change a shortcut's target properties because it will be pointing at a unc path for a server that will not be in use. So the script should check out the properties and if it see's that has an unc path of server 1 then it will change it to server 2.

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	Have a try with "shortcut.exe", a resource kit tool. You can read and write shortcuts with it. Regards, Bert
