run hidden is also one of the options asked for.
I surely don't remember all the suggestions for run, but run hidden I have no work-around... exept my own UDF ofcourse.

mm... once we are on the subject...
dunno about console kix (kix32.exe) users, but the few of us who love real console-less kix (wkix32.exe), it might be nice to have a console to spawn...
in other words, let the scripts control flow while the console is threaded as control somewhere...
maybe not the same way WSH controls it, but if it's the best to get... that will do.
