Thanks for the info. One question. I uninstalled Netscape Communicator 4.75 from my NT machine, rebooted and when I looked at the registry, it still had an antry for netscape that looks like this:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NETSCAPE\NETSCAPENAVIGATOR\4.75 (en).

So when I write my script to check to see if Netscape is not installed, will it look at this an interpret it that it is installed, even though I went through the un-installation procedure and re-booted? Thanks!!!
