kent, good for you.
that "main" thing has no effect on my env.

anyway, the other changes fixes are more than awesome.
like the improved stack which no longer crashes on my scripts and the fixed memory leak which no longer crashes my systems when running 24/7

I have a bug in 4.12 on windows 95 only (98& 2k run fine), the interpretation of %0\logon.kix doesn't work (in 4.11 and before it was ok)

Titus... Your example either has a typo or you're using the wrong syntax.

It shoud be more like:

%0\..\logon.kix
not
%0\logon.kix

I can test this tomorrow at work, but my guess is that "something" is invalid in your batch file.

yes, the command is %0\..\logon.kix
it runs fine with kix 4.11, but not in 4.12 (in windows 95 only) it runs well in win 2k and win 98 in 4.12

it fall back to 4.11 , waiting for an update

(yes i'm not registred)

Is this a kixtart question? I would think the command processor resolves "%0\..\logon.kix" & then passes the result to kixtart. Is this correct?

The question is, what is the complete line that launches KiX?

%0\..\kix32.exe %0\..\logon.kix

is the textbook way for Wintendo.

z = netlogon drive on w9x during logon

for nt-based systems netlogon is current directory.

using %0\..\ is not good practise as there should be problems with xp.

will work. alternatively, search for 'login.bat' on the KiXtart BBS and be presented with a lot of advanced login scripts that work under all Windows OS with both client- and server-based executables.

There is another way to become an unregistered user. The result is depending
of your input. Once we have that prolem in F1-5014.

At the moment we have already 1593 reactions, which were creating as an unregistered
user. Generally we don't see much unregistered reactions.
