It is improvements for KiX to handle floating point numbers, it introduces several new functions: Mod Abs CStr CInt CDbl Fix Int Round This is stil very experimental, check out the script exp.kix included in the zip-file for a small guiadance, all functions are so new that they are not documented. -Erik

So Scriptlogic doesn't publish this version and they only report it in their development report. It looks like it is the second time that a private release becomes a public release. In our opinion it wasn't good. Of course we are glad that Ruud's share his latest creations with us (a select group) to get feedback. We can imagine that Ruud's doesn't like that private releases becomes public. He hasn't the freedom to change or even to remove new functionality from those release. Mostly those alpha releases aren't testing complete. Most- ly by new alpha releases a programmer wants feedback for new functionali- ties. As KiXtart lovers we must prevent anger by Ruud and we know all Ruud will help you with critical problems. I'm still wondering, as kix2k1 is the current generation of kix why in kixtart.org the manual-doc-link points to kix95.doc???? these are the links that should be updated. and still, why can't it be taken of the site now? It obvious that build 81 does not belong there, why it still appears to be on the site? the longer it's there, more harm it'll make. uttleast throw it to archive so ppl see the official release 4.02 upmost... cheers (after a quite long time), _________________________ ! download KiXnet

Unfortunately it hasn't been updated since 4.00 beta 1 I believe... Anyway, just pointing out more of the obvious... Unfortunately though, there are many that don't.
