Kix 4.10 build 81 is stil an alpha version, maybe this should be understressed in the download section of KiXtart.org.
It is improvements for KiX to handle floating point numbers, it introduces several new functions:- Mod
- Abs
- CStr
- CInt
- CDbl
- Fix
- Int
- Round
This is stil very experimental, check out the script exp.kix included in the zip-file for a small guiadance, all functions are so new that they are not documented. -Erik

Yeah! "Got Mod?" So, does this mean that we now have a floating point, or are we still stuck with integers?

Dear DrillSergeant,
It is indeed a private release. So Scriptlogic doesn't publish this version and they only report it in their development report. It looks like it is the second time that a private release becomes a public release. In our opinion it wasn't good.
Of course we are glad that Ruud's share his latest creations with us (a select group) to get feedback. We can imagine that Ruud's doesn't like that private releases becomes public. He hasn't the freedom to change or even to remove new functionality from those release. Mostly those alpha releases aren't testing complete. Most- ly by new alpha releases a programmer wants feedback for new functionali- ties.
As KiXtart lovers we must prevent anger by Ruud and we know all Ruud will help you with critical problems. Recently Ruud gets big complements for it by this board. greetings.

So who made this mistake of posting 4.01 alpha to this site?

And while on the subject. This site hosts a mirror download of the HTML help that ScriptLogic created. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated since 4.00 beta 1 I believe...
Anyway, just pointing out more of the obvious... When someone does get around to updating the links, this could be updated as well... [ 25 March 2002, 05:47: Message edited by: bstyles ]

Dear Lonkero,
It is also necessary to return an answer on a question. Some general infor- mation can also be usefull. In this case "where can we you also find the kixtart manual". greetings.
