SLM, NT has two sets of startup folders. There is one for all users, which is what is running when logging on, and there is one for each individual user. This later has exactly the same restrictions and limitations as the startup folder under Win95. Win95 does not have an all-users program group.I can see what you are trying to do in very general terms but that doesn't help. If you can give an example of what you want to do (in expicit terms) I'm sure the problem can be solved. However, continuing to pose the question in such broad and general terms will not help.
