The thing about WMI that I like is that I do not have to interpret the SQL code. It comes back like I normally see it. Plus, I don't have access to the SQL databases. What I did was to combine them... use DHCPCMD to dump all the leases into arrays use Ascan to read for mac addr and if it fails, then use the SMS data for the most part, dhcpcmd has most of them, and is MUCH faster, but has some holes in the data. I'll post a copy of the product on my site tomorrow, after I redact it for 'sensitive' details. It isn't perfect yet, but it functions reasonably well. considering I've gutted it from most errorchecking code. [ 24.
