mholley mholley Lurker Registered: 2003-04-15 Posts: 2	Hi there, I've recently implemented kix32 V4.20 to allow drive mappings based on group memberships in our Windows 2000 domain. I'm having a problems with the 'ingroup' function not triggering on long global group names.... eg. one that works = "csfile" eg. one that doesn't work = "this is a test group" The if statement is structured as follows: IF INGROUP("this is a test group") RUN "net use Q: \\www\ftpsite" ENDIF Does anyone know why this isn't working for me?

Les Les KiX Master Registered: 2001-06-11 Posts: 12734 Loc: fortfrances.on.ca	You don't say what OS the client is. Wintendos do have limits on the length of group names. There is a limit of 20 characters for group name for NT clients. mholley mholley Lurker Registered: 2003-04-15 Posts: 2	Thanks. I tested out the 20 character limitation and that's the problem. Several of the global groups that I was attempting to perform the drive mappings based on are more than 20 characters.... It's too bad that this limitation exists....
