Before a flame war breaks out, I have read all the other posts on shortcut editing, but I think this one is a biggy.!

The powers-that-be have decided that they want to change the letters of the drives that are mapped to the network. As you can imagine this is going to be a nightmare.

Is it possible to search all the local hard drives for shortcuts (.LNKs) and edit them so that any matching drive letters entered in the TARGET field will be changed.

At the moment its only one letter. Changing from S: to U:

If anyone has any ideas how to achive this, all comments welcome.!
