Wouldn't it be easier to lock down the network so they only have access to the places they should have?

I work on a completely closed system, the studnets only have the rights to access places that I want them to access. If you don't want them to have access to somewhere, remove all the permissions to that area, so only the NetAdmin can get in.

Wouldn't that be easier?
