I think I'll pass. But if you did, I could direct them to KiXtart.org or www.Microsoft.com.

This is the third edit I made to this post. I think I have to pass.

I'm running low on fuel allready but can take one for you too!
but, seriously, if you are helpdesk then all you need to do to get really drunk:
answer machine
tape
microfone
the 100 base questions to get caller farmed up
after the questions take a break for asking technical support some questionand during the silence rewind the tape and run it again
loop this as long as can stand.
when he hangs up, just wait for another one.
when ran these questions from tape, no sound of drunken voice nor real connection with the user (normal helpdesk)
employer happy
customers stop calling you

and you can drink some more to more.

it's that simple.
with the basic helpdesk questions tape, you don't need to know anything.
just ask questions and tell the user randomly to reboot the machine.
when ask to arrive say that there is no problem.
that the user should try again and again.

drink.

drink...

actually.
came up with problem at the same time I was opening the LES BEER can.
I enabled the e-mail filter on our exchange 5.5 sp4 server on some domains.
found some articles from web which were almost all different from each other.
so...
added the domain.com... no help
added @domain.com... no help
added @net.domain.com... no help

as an example, I (myself) get 20-40 junk e-mails per day. about ten comes from *@mc.currentmail.com
one great shit is *@peel.net

how do I get these e-mails deleted.
how can I make the filter working as it seems not to prevent any of the domains.

offcourse I'm in the dilbert daily strib...

I thought also the random number generator was ok:
9,9,9,9,9,9,9,9,9,9,9,9,9,9,9,9.....
-are you sure that is random?
-that's the problem with randomnes, you can never be sure.

I architect Microsoft networking infrastructure and ways to manage it via scripted solutions. I developed and maintain our coporate logon script. Write KiXtart & Perl programs that assist management and local LAN admins in this environment.

I have developed a Perl /SQL Server solution that migrates NT security for all NT resources, computers, etc. We create new accounts in our domain and preserve the users old desktops and access permissions. No need to buy expensive 3rd party solutions like Mission Critical Software etc.
