Reading the script will also be easier if you consolidate some stuff into UDFs.
I also highly recommend to use either KIXStrip from MCA's website or put a DEBUG ON in the first lne of the script. Then run the script from one of the affected Windows 9x computers and step though it. This will most likely show you where the problem is.
