We have also take a look at your script and we have some suggestions:
- line was incorrect
If (($OS = "WinNT4") OR ($OS = "Win2K")) AND ($Privilege = "User") - advise to use quotations in following lines:
Box (0,0,2,79,"DOUBLE")
Box (22,0,24,78,"SINGLE")
IF (ReadProfileString ($patchfile, "$OS", "$OSPatch") <> "DONE")
IF (ReadProfileString ($patchfile, "IE", "$IE_Patch") <> "DONE")
(we replace DONE by "DONE")
latest correction can return unexpectedc errors. DONE isn't a function and
you doesn't mean it as a function but as string.
Misspelling names can be verified with the other tool kixref.
The call is
kixref input.kix output /warnings
Before above correction it will return:

btw: can you mail your complete script to use. a simple copy-n-paste wasn't
possible. we get all kind of additional control characters in the file which
reflects the possible different linenumbers with your version.
we want to try something to verify. possible we have to change something in
our kixref program.

Dear Mark,
We doesn't find any $ldir variable in your script.
When you are using the new string format like
$server="servername"
$user_path="\\"+$server"\"+@userid+"$$"
instead of
$server="servername
$user_path="\\$server\@userid$$"
kixref can also very the correctness of those statements.
Can you send me the old and latest release of your script. Thanks.
