Welcome to the board.
I agree with you fully. It always annoys me when I have to wade through hundreds of event log entries on my servers. What would be nice is if KiX worked like some other programs that allow you to control debug/error logging and verbosity through registry entries. Some programs have reg values like:
DebugMode
Verbose
ErrorMode
ErrorControl
