Syntax within schedule service:
:\Dir\SubDir\batchfile.cmd

Batchfile.cmd:
:\Dir\SubDir\Kix32.exe script.kix

We use NT4 WS and we use autoexnt service
and put in the autoexnt.bat your kix script.

The autoeexnt service is part of the NT4 recource kit.

To be honest, now I've had time to think about this when I'm not knackered - the best thing I can do would probably be to configure a whole bunch of PerfMon alerts to fire off a kix script with any required args.

The main reason being, the lack of event handling in kix. I suppose I could try to run a script as a massive While...Loop, but I really have no idea what that would do to my CPU.

I'm basically trying to configure some basic monitoring and alerting on our desktop machines, on a shoestring of course. I really need to think a bit more about exactly how I would accomplish this - sorry for taking up your time with a non-specific query like this.

I'll definitely look into the utilities you've mentioned, though...
