Does any one have a script that will detect that I am logging onto an NT/2000 server and then exit prior to launching the rest of the script? Reason being, I have servers in other time zones and want to prevent time changes and drive mappings back across the WAN. Have no reason to launch login script on a server....

regards....Jerry

Hi,

This cool script by Radimus shows how to check for OS version etc, just snip out the bit you need.

thanks CJ.... that is helpful to identify the OS....now all I have to do is insert some IF ENDIF in there some how and launch different scripts based on what OS it detects, or in some cases tell it do nothing at all.... just need to hack it up
