SysPrep can be used on NT4 as well. However, keep in mind there are (at least) 2 versions of SysPrep, so you have to use the correct one. I think version 1.1 is for Win2K, and 1.0 is for NT4, but you should check this, because I'm not sure of the version numbers.

But what's the intent? Do you need to use images? Or do you need to change computernames of existing computers on your network? Do you need to migrate or something? Please provide some more info, so we can offer better help... ?
