Hi kixters. I need some advice. I'm trying to create an automated script that runs every 45days and deletes folders/files on a specified directory. I also want it so that it has exception....
For example: When a user requests his files/folders need to stay for more than 45 days. Can such a script be done? I know you may have to use AT command etc..
easiest way, I can think of is to have a user/folder specific file which says when it was last checked. then on every logon check if there is 45 days between. if true, ask user. at can't be used because user isn't all the time at his/her computer and can't give this way denial reply.
