Has anyone played with using multiple ole calls in a script? What I'm toying with is using the account entry screen that i created but call a second ole instance as a sort of subform.

Paul:

You've got two options...

You can create as many $ie objects (threads) as you like - each one will be an independent explorer session with it's own settings, size, document, etc...

Your other option is to write over your existing page ($doc) with new html, then write back your old html when done - but I think this option might be tricky because you'd probably lose your previous page's state information (unless you could save and restore it somehow).

I think option two is the better one - might want to run some tests...

I really like that admin script - It's too sexy for this shirt !

Shawn.

I tried creating a second object within the script but probably just had fat fingers... I'll play with it some more. I'm adding someother stuff back into the script. Originally it was text based and I have a default phone number set by location but had the option to set a DID number for the person instead. So now I'm working on that part. I finally got it doing a batch update into our Time and Attendance system, so once I can get this part done I'm set.

Thanks
