The 'failed to find/open script' error sounds more like KiXtart is unable to find the script you are calling.
1) Do you have a folder 'c:\printer' as required by the script.
2) Call the script by providing the complete path, e.g KIX32 c:\printer\printer.kix if you saved the script as printer.kix
3) Call the script with an additional debug paramter as in KIX32 /d c:\printer\printer.kix
