Description
Outlock is a small application which is loaded as a taskbar icon.
When starting it, it automatically loads Microsoft Outlook into memory. This makes sure at even if you do not have a visible instance of Microsoft Outlook running, you wil still get notifications about new mail and reminders about appointments etc.
Furthermore Outlock gives you, through its popupmenu, a quick way into Microsoft Outlook. In just one click you can send new mails, schedule new appointments or record new contacts. Outlock 1.2 was tested with the Danish version of Microsoft Outlook 97 and 98 on both Microsoft Windows 98 and Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 Workstation.
The current version has NOT been tested with Outlook 2000. I have varying reports on Outlock and Outlook 2000, but the compatibility has not been officially tested and I am therefore sorry that I cannot answer question on this area.
Outlock does NOT work with Outlook Express in any version.
I am using it on Outlook 2000 and it works fine...
