I would like to get all my Win 9x machines to have the same size DOS box. When a Win 9x user logs in, the DOS window is often small or cut off on the right side. I have been playing around with a few methods to fix this and have had mixed results. The following method works for getting the box to be the right size(number of chars, 80 X 24), but keeps coming up a random font size. One time it will look fine, the very next time, it is very small and hard to read.

--- Code snippet from login.bat ---
%comspec% /c start %0\..\kix32.exe %0\..\login.kix
--- end code snippet ---

I like this, because it causes the login script to finish, allowing Windows to continue booting. Also, if the login script try's to do a InGroup command it will cause a GPF error that won't go away. The InGroup seems to work fine if I just start the login.kix script with %0\..\kix32.exe %0\..\login.kix. I am not running the RPC stuff, so that may be the problem.
