I am trying to have a script reboot a Win9x machine after software installation, but having a little trouble. I am using the shutdown "work around": RUN "%windir%\RUNDLL32.EXE user.exe,ExitWindows". I use the RUN command so I don't get a message asking me to close the Kix32.exe window before shutdown will proceed. The system does a shutdown, but stays at the "Now safe to turn off your computer" screen. Is there anyway to get a real reboot with this method?
