I just read an article in WINNT Magazine about using "net use g: servername\share" when mapping netware drives as opposed to "net use g: \\servername\share" for NT shares. Manually mapping a drive at a command prompt using this trick has a significant decrease in the response time. Is there anyway to do this with kix32. When I try it in debug mode it keeps coming back with invalid syntax (or something to that effect). I've looked though the manual but it's possible I overlooked something.
I have the intranetware client installed. My question was about the use command. I'm trying to find out if there is a way for kixtart to accept "use servername\sharename" in addition to "use \\servername\sharename". When mapping to a novell drive if you use the former it responds much quicker.
