Hello!

We have been upgrading our computers within my company to XP Professional and are experiencing intermittent problems w/ the login script.

Basically, sometimes it will not run the login script. We are currently running version 3.61 of KiXtart 95 and I was wondering if we should upgrade our version to remedy our intermittent login script issues?

I think that I already know the answer…but, wanted to ask the experts. So here are my questions:

1.) Should I upgrade to version 4.21…we are currently running in a Windows 2000/XP environment w/ a Windows 2000 AD server running KIXtart?

2.) If we should upgrade, how involved is this process?

Thanks,

Yes, you should upgrade to KiXtart v4.21 or later. Read the KiXtart Manual and the FAQ Forum before the upgrade and you should not have any problems unless you are using OLE calls in your scripts.

And read this question, too, as it is essentially the same: Upgrading from 3.62
