good day to all
I have just recently started using kixtart in our organization and i'm am having a problem that is fustrating me to no end. All i'm looking to do is map user/group specific drives based on group membership, i have read through the manual, read what i could dig up on this forum and talk to friends who know more about scripting than I. Yet for some reason i can't seem to get the script to work. I will post below for everyone to check out and hopefully give me an idea of what i'm doing wrong. TIA

As for the path, the $ is there only because the share is a hidden one, and with the ingroup command i've tried it both ways. neither has worked so far

Yes we do have 9x clients in our domain, as for the rpc service it is running on our primary dc, we have a secondary replicator dc which is not running the service, would it be advised to install it there as well?

WOW great!, well it's working a lot better now, thanks so much. now there is one small glitch with it and that is that it's not giving me all the necessary drives that need to be mapped. on my win2k client i get 3 out of the 4 that should come up, and on my 9x client i only get 2 out of 4. any more ideas? if you guys want i'll post the revision just let me know

well thanx for the advice, but i got it figured out. it was the way that win2k was listing the group name as compared to how i originally typed it. ex: administration ='ed admin. strange but true, anyways everything seems to be working great now, with no flaws (knock on wood). I definately appreciate everyones help, i should have came here sooner and asked instead of wasting two weeks being fustrated out of my mind!!!!. Again thank you guys SOOOO much!
