Where are you trying to copy the file to on the local machine? Does the user that is logged in have permissions to that directory? If you're doing the 'copy-to-local' function via a batch file, what do you see if you put a pause at the end of it and run it manually?
Also, what happens if you manually copy down the kix32.exe to the local machine and then try running the script?
