I have run into a very weird problem while trying to deploy my KiXtart scripts. All users at our remote sites logon to a server located here in the central office (Mostly NT4). Remote sites are connected by 2Mbps DSL lines. Within the CO all the KiXtart scripts work fine, however when I try to run the script on a remote computer the console shows up and then it sits there for a while before eventually Dr. Watson reports there was an application error. I was going to try and work around this by running KiX32 off the local drive however I cannot copy the KiX32.exe from the Netlogon directory!! It starts to copy and gets about 3/4 done and then it stops and sits for a while before giving me a "Cannot copy KiX32: Error performing inpage operation.".

There are some other weird anomalies happening with the executable. For instance, if I use an NT4 machine and r-click on the KiX32 executable in the netlogon directory it causes the whole computer to freeze for about 1 minute before it displays the menu. If I work with the executable anywhere outside of the netlogon directory it works perfectly.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
