hanke hanke Fresh Scripter Registered: 2002-10-22 Posts: 35	I am trying to create shortcuts to mapped drives for users on their desktop. .bat file code: @echo off shortcuts.vbs cls %0\..\Kix32.exe %0\..\was1.kix Works in 2000 great but 98 doesn't grab the command. From the 98 if you click on shortcuts.vbs everything works.

Anyway, try to provide the full path to WSH with the VBS script as parameter or try %0\..\shortcutrs.vbs or the full path to shortcuts.vbs. _________________________ There are two types of vessels, submarines and targets.

Lonkero Lonkero KiX Master Guru Registered: 2001-06-05 Posts: 22346 Loc: OK	I save you the time. check out for similar "wscript" UDF at: http://kixhelp.com/udfs/ or http://www.gwspikval.com/jooel/UDF/ those are both just "mirrors" of our current udf-forum. they miss all the post but have only the udf's inside them. kixhelp.com does not update everyday but otherwise they are same. they also have a search-engine which eases to work to scroll the total of 360 UDFs! simply for shortcut you get at least the wsh-shortcut udf: http://www.kixtart.org/board/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=12;t=000399 and it's version 1.0: http://www.kixtart.org/board/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=12;t=000034 and kixtart version (not as clean as kixtart naturally does not support this): http://www.kixtart.org/board/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=12;t=000160 there are others too which has their own benefits and dis-benefits... _________________________ ! download KiXnet

hanke hanke Fresh Scripter Registered: 2002-10-22 Posts: 35	It works in 2000 but I can't get windows 98 to work, I have installed WSH 5.6 and that is not it. Does this work in Windows 98.
