I have to use a SET commmand i really want to use two nrs of my pcname so if my pcname is pcnr15 i want to set a environmentsetting. set myexample=0015 anyone creative to help me work this one out ?? thx already ! It was almost what i needed ... but with my little knowledge of kix i made this : code: $sPC=@WKsta setM "myexample="+right("0000"+substr($sPC,5),4) and of course changed the myexample name and now it does what i wanted so thx for helpin out !!
